On May 13, 2026, Zhou Xian, Party Secretary of the School of Low-Altitude Technology at Jiangsu University, together with Zhou Jun, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean, Wang Ziping, Vice Director of the Department of Mechanics, and other faculty and students, visited the Zhenjiang Low-Altitude Industry Integration Base. They held a discussion on deepening university–enterprise cooperation and jointly advancing workforce development and industrial growth in the low-altitude economy. Zhang Wen, General Manager of Huashe Company at Zhenjiang Traffic Industry Group, General Manager of the Zhenjiang Branch of Huashe Group, and person in charge of the Zhenjiang Low-Altitude Industry Integration Base, accompanied the group throughout and gave a comprehensive briefing.

The delegation visited the facility, seeing drone logistics and pilot training firsthand. They also examined day-to-day work across drone services, hands-on training, and facility management.

During sit-down discussions, Zhou Xian gave an overview of the School of Low-Altitude Technology, its disciplinary directions, and education and training programs. He noted that the low-altitude economy, as a strategic emerging industry, urgently needs well-qualified, practice-oriented professionals. The school is ready to work with Zhenjiang Traffic Industry Group to develop new training pathways aligned with industry trends.

Zhang Wen outlined Zhenjiang Traffic Industry Group's strategy and progress in the low-altitude economy. He highlighted the group's partnerships with universities, including off-campus training facilities and new specialized courses. He said Zhenjiang Traffic Industry Group is using Zhenjiang Low-Altitude Industry Integration Base to combine cargo transport, inspection, and training under one roof, and to bring together the low-altitude economy and higher education.

The two sides discussed the outlook for low-altitude economy, joint training programs, and building internship and training facilities. They agreed to deepen university–enterprise cooperation and to develop the low-altitude workforce and advance high-quality industry in Zhenjiang. Going forward, the School of Low-Altitude Technology will build on this exchange to continue working with Zhenjiang Traffic Industry Group on industry–education integration, joint curriculum development, and training platforms, providing the skilled workforce and technical expertise needed for the low-altitude economy to grow.
